About Me
Started working full time in the wine industry in 1977 for a private grape and almond grower in Willunga, South Australia, ending my tenure ten years later as the property manager.
I spent the next ten years at Fox Creek in McLaren Vale as second in charge of viticulture. Whilst employed at Fox Creek, I began part time distance education studies in a Degree of Applied Science (Viticulture) at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga NSW.
In 1998, I began my journey as a self-employed viticultural consultant, which continues to this day.
Other businesses include a partnership in a mechanical grape harvesting business based in McLaren Vale; Fleurieu Harvesters, and as a director/partner in Dodgy Brothers Wines, a small premium winemaking business, also based in McLaren Vale.
