About Me
Andrew Corrigan is based in Brisbane, Australia and is a winery estate proprietor, wine / liquor consultant, wine educator and wine writer. He is part owner of Hidden Creek Winery and Café in the Granite Belt wine region having purchased it in 2005 and subsequently building up its capital value and reputation. He is active on Queensland wine industry committees and Queensland wine promotions. He became President of the Qld Wine Industry Association in 2021.
He attained the English/ International Master of Wine qualification in 1997.
Andrew consults to several retail and club outlets and his wine lists and liquor inventory consulting have won several awards.
He is a popular speaker at wine seminars. He also teaches at Master of Wine seminars held in various venues in Australia as well as Bordeaux and Napa Valley. He presents a regular monthly master-class at Wine Experience, Rosalie, Brisbane. He has presented numerous liquor / wine training courses and contributes to several magazines and newspapers as well as speaking on ABC radio. .
He published the book “Table Talk” in 2012, a guide to the social aspect of food wine and drinks. He has been a restaurant part owner and general manager of a wide range liquor wholesaler in north Qld.
