Mr Thomas Lefebvre
About Me
Originally from France, I began my career in the wine industry as a picker in 1989 in Languedoc. I moved to Australia in 1999 and progressed through various roles, including vintage/wineries assistant, assistant vineyard manager, and vineyard manager/viticulturist. I worked at renowned wineries and vineyards, such as Canobolas Smith, All Saints Estate, and M. Chapoutier Australia.
In 2011, I expanded my expertise by teaching wine production at TAFE College . I then took on vineyard manager/viticulturist roles at Cullarin Block 71 Wines and Eden Road Wines, successfully converting vineyards to organic production and implementing sustainable practices. Currently, I work as a consultant viticulturist, providing expert advice and training on sustainable viticulture practices to clients in the Canberra region. With over 30 years of experience, I possess a deep understanding of winegrape production and a passion for sustainable practices. I am a firm believer in the idea that great wines are made in the vineyard
