About Me
Andrew Yap is an entrepreneur, innovator, inventor and wine educator. He is the CEO of Wine Ultrasonics Australia Pty Ltd. He has 37 years’ experience in oenological and food science teaching and research at The University of Adelaide, Australian Wine Research Institute, The University of Auckland, University of South Australia and the former Roseworthy Agricultural College; 28 years’ experience in business development, company start-ups and industrial research; and co-invented and patented new and innovative processes to deliver quality enhancement, sustainability improvement and cost reduction benefits to the wine industry using cutting-edge high power ultrasonics technology. He has been an active member of wine industry organizations, governmental and professional bodies, community groups and sporting clubs.
