Jo Hargreaves, Wine Australia
Jo is responsible for R&D projects on customer insights and for Wine Australia’s people development and capacity building activities and our extension and adoption programs. Jo joined the Wine Australia team in September 2017, following an extensive career in the education sector. Her background is in social science research and she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English literature and a Masters in Public Policy. Jo’s most recent role was with the National Centre for Vocational Education Research where, over a period of 18 years, she conducted and published numerous research reports and articles with a particular focus on apprenticeships, labour and social mobility and industry engagement in skill development. Jo has substantial interest and expertise in evaluating the impact of research, and working with the wine sector to adopt R&D outcomes

Kerry-Anne Jenkins, Human Resource, People and Culture Professional
Kerry-Anne Jenkins BSc CAHRI brings more than 20 years’ experience of International and Australian Human Resources. A qualified human resource professional with a psychology degree and a business background, Kerry-Anne has experience working across a number of sectors and specialises in industrial and employee relations, workplace culture and leadership. Kerry-Anne is also an experienced training facilitator and runs a number of culture development, people management and leadership workshops. Running her own business established in 2014, Kerry-Anne provides a personal human resource, people and culture service to South Australian businesses.

Margaret Gardoll, Black Dog Institute
Margaret has experience in the corporate, government and non-government sectors; supporting organisations understand how to create a mentally healthy workplace. She is able to share the insights from the Black Dog Institute workplace research team and provide programs, tools and resources suitable to every business context. She has expertise in capacity building and stakeholder engagement. Her academic qualifications are a Bachelor of Commerce, Grad Dip in VET and Master of Social Change and Development. She is committed to sharing the science behind workplace mental health to support Australian workplace.

Julia Coney, Black wine Professionals
Julia Coney is a Washington, D.C. and Houston, Texas-based wine writer, wine educator, speaker, and consultant. Her wine writing includes stories on wine, winemakers, and the intersection of race, wine, and language. Julia is the recipient of Wine Enthusiast's 2020 Social Visionary Award Winner for her work in writing and speaking on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the wine industry. Julia is the Founder of Black Wine Professionals, a resource for wine industry employers and gatekeepers, professionals, and the food and beverage community. Dee Edwards, Flinders University New Venture Institute
With a Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism, WSET 3 and a business marketing degree under her belt, Dee has had a dream wine career with premium Australian wine brands such as St Hallett Wines, wine cooperative Artisans of Barossa and Yalumba Wine Company. She is currently the Entrepreneurship Facilitator for Flinders University New Venture Institute, assisting businesses and start-ups in the Barossa, Yorke and Mid North region of South Australia. A proud South Sea Islander and Gubbi Gubbi woman, Dee aspires to honour her cultural legacy by leading her work and relationships with the question: “what kind of ancestor do I want to be?”

Michael Henderson, Cultures at Work
Michael Henderson is a Corporate Anthropologist which means he is a qualified specialist in organizational culture and performance.
His work has been recognized by Professor Edgar Schein of M.I.T Business school as a step-change in thinking in terms of aligning company culture as a strategic asset.
Michael has 35 years of experience and is the author of 10 books on company culture and Leading culture.
