In accordance with the Constitution of the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology (adopted 11 June 2025), a financial member of the Society who is entitled to vote and is unable to attend a General Meeting may appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf (clauses 9.1 and 10.1.1). This form is approved by the Board for that purpose and may be used for the Annual General Meeting. If this form directs the proxy how to vote on a resolution set out in the notice of meeting, that vote will be recorded as directed. Otherwise, the proxy may vote at their discretion (clauses 9.3–9.4). Completed forms must be received at the Society's office no less than four days before the meeting, or no less than two days before if the appointing member is a Board member (clause 9.2). Forms may be lodged by post with the member's handwritten signature, or by another method the Board has approved, such as email from the member's address as recorded in the register of members.
