The ASVO Mildura Seminar has brought together Australian and international researchers, growers and consultants for more than three decades, creating a forum to reflect on the wine sector’s achievements and exchange ideas to further advance the adoption of innovation to increase profitability and sustainability.

New technology currently in use and under development, emerging trends – those are just some of the pressing topics on the minds of industry professionals, so it should come as no surprise that they are also slated to be on the program of the ASVO innovation seminar in Mildura, August 2nd & 3rd of August.
“The goal of the seminar is to deliver valuable, current and bankable information to our industry that can be directly translated to businesses,” explained Brett McClen, chair of the Program Committee.
The ASVO seminar brings together academia and industry, as well as representatives of agencies that coordinate research and innovation policies allowing us to present some of the current-trend research projects that are already addressing new methodological approaches and proposing solutions and innovative applications.
We believe the two key drivers for your attendance this year are the relevance of our seminar session topics and networking benefits ,” said Dr Mardi Longbottom, president of the ASVO. “The wine and grape industry is fast changing, complex and highly competitive, and people want the latest information, research and analysis as a way to stay competitive.” This seminar will allow delegates to network with other professionals and researchers in the industry. They will be able to take the pulse of what is happening for tools, technologies, and processes, and hear ideas they possible weren’t even aware of.
