We are happy to announce the upcoming ASVO Mildura seminar Vineyard Longevity maintaining the asset .The seminar addresses the need of increasing productivity while protecting and enhancing the longevity of our vineyards. The Seminar will be held in Mildura on the 22-23 of July in the Mildura art Centre.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr Kendra Baumgartner. Dr Baumgartner is a grapevine pathologist with the USDA. Dr Baumgartner runs a research program in sustainable viticulture developing effective and efficient control strategies for fungal diseases and vineyard practices that reduce chemical inputs, while achieving production and quality demands.
Dr Vaughn Bell from the New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research Limited will share the strategies that have been developed for vineyard managers to devise profit-maximizing disease control strategies in New Zealand Vineyards.
